| in the recent discussions on big brakes. From my own experience in driving various Z's equipped with various levels of braking, none of the brake upgrades that use stock rotors show any appreciable difference in braking ability compared to a completely stock braking system when you are talking about daily, legal driving. One thing not mentioned in that paragraph (because it was only specifically addressing braking distances) is the braking response. Because larger brakes have a torque/leverage advantage over smaller brakes, it requires less pedal pressure to achieve the same braking power. This also means that in the quick application of the brakes, a larger rotor is going to produce the same braking response quicker and with less effort. It isn't until you have driven a Z with larger upgraded brakes that you will experience what I am speaking of. The anti-fade resistance factor isn't noticed until you really get out and beat your car, of which I do daily, and I love the big brakes over the stock brakes... Just my $.02
